Seaman Corporation has announced the groundbreaking of its expanded headquarters in Wooster, Ohio. The expansion will support the creation of more than 50 new jobs in Wayne County.

The new 10,200-square-foot mixed-use space will feature additional workstations, a large, multi-purpose conference room for 120 people and increased parking capacity, designed to meet evolving operational needs and support a growing workforce.

“This is more than a building project. It’s a commitment to our people and our community. As our business grows and we generate new jobs in the areas where we operate, we’re making a lasting impact. This milestone embodies our long-term vision for sustainable growth and innovation, while continuing to invest in a culture that drives our success and expands opportunity across Northeast Ohio,” says Jeff Swartz, CEO of Seaman Corporation.

This project was supported by partners, including Team NEO, the City of Wooster and the Wayne Economic Development Council (WEDC)

“Seaman Corporation has long been a cornerstone of Wooster’s business community, and we’re proud to support their continued growth. This expansion brings new jobs and investment to our city and reinforces Wooster’s reputation as a place where innovation, opportunity, and community thrive,” says Bob Reynolds, mayor of Wooster.

An opening ceremony was held Aug. 22, with special guests including Mayor Reynolds, WEDC President Maribeth Burns and other local and regional representatives.
