We provide a safe and healthy workplace, which is demonstrated through having one of the lowest incident rates in the industry, though we’ve installed more environmental lining systems than any other company in the nation.
Safety is first.
Nothing says job security like job safety. Our comprehensive safety plan starts with mandatory orientation for new employees and OJT (on-the-job) safety training with their assigned supervisor. Employees undergo ESI in-house OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour and HAZWOPER 24-hour training. First Aid, CPR Training and MSHA 24-hour training (if required) are provided through outside providers. Job, customer and site-specific training such as POWERSAFE (utility safety training required by the industry), Alliance Safety Council others are also provided. Again, some of our employees will obtain TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credentials) because of the work we do in the maritime industry. ESI also conducts regular worksite audits to ensure compliance with our safety policies and that of our customers. We have a lot of training opportunities for our employees. We emphasize safety because we care about our employees and we want them to return to their families in good health every day. Learn more about our safety culture.
We develop highly skilled employees.
Our employees undergo a rigorous training program, so they are well-prepared when beginning their first project. Our employees are highly skilled industry leaders who have built a reputation for excellent customer relations and exceptional performance. These skills are developed through a company culture that emphasizes ongoing training and operational management. Through our safety training and leadership, you will gain the expertise needed to significantly contribute to the success of our team. You commit to us, and we’ll invest in you.
We offer competitive salaries and benefits.
Competitive benefits and flexible work opportunities make ESI an attractive place to work, and our Corporate Health and Safety Program is only the beginning of protecting our ESI employees and their families. We strive to maintain long-term relationships not only with our customers but with our employees as well. Who wouldn’t want to work for a company that works for them
